Dazzling evening of concerts, performances and installations at arts centre STUK

We kick off the cultural year with a dazzling festival evening at arts centre STUK. You decide where you go or stand (but don't miss the free apero). With their catchy Japanese electropop, the duo Aili is one of the most promising Belgian acts of the moment. More in the mood for dance? Then pop in to Manual Focus by choreographer Mette Ingvartsen, an infectious exploration of the body and the ways we look at it. Also don't miss the virtuoso guitar sounds of Geoffrey Burton, who teams up with percussionist Tsubasa Hori and visual artist Sarah Yu Zeebroek. Take a breather with Native American artist Raven Chacon's video art, or how about an original First Date or an intimate encounter by Maarten Heijnens? Afterwards, the roof goes off with Antwerp electropunk phenomenon Hantrax. Ready for takeoff?

➤ Mette Ingvartsen, Best of Kortfilmfestival and Geoffrey Burton, Tsubasa Hori & Sarah Yu Zeebroek are with closed doors. The other rooms are with open doors, you can walk in & out.
